The Orlando Eye, officially known as The Wheel at ICON Park, is a 400-foot-tall observation wheel located on International Drive in Orlando. Each ride lasts approximately 20 minutes, and passengers enjoy the experience in air-conditioned, enclosed capsules that comfortably fit up to 15 people.
The attraction is part of ICON Park, a 20-acre entertainment complex filled with restaurants, shops, and other attractions like Madame Tussauds and the SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium. Visitors can purchase standalone tickets or bundled options that include multiple experiences within the park. The Orlando Eye is also known for its nighttime presence, as it lights up with 64,000 LED lights that frequently change color and pattern, enhancing the area’s evening atmosphere.
Operating hours generally begin around noon and extend into the late evening, often closing between 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM depending on the day. The attraction is wheelchair-accessible, and service animals are welcome. With free parking and a central location, The Orlando Eye is a convenient and memorable way to take in the sights of the greater Orlando area from above.
